Perfect for shipping container conversions and temporary buildings, our container window shutters are manufactured with a 1mm galvanised steel door skins and 2mm galvanised steel frames. A 3mm astragal is welded to the edges of the leaves for additional security.
Supplied wet sprayed with a grey primer finish, we mask an area of the perimeter of the frame before primer painting. This allows you to weld straight to the bare galvanised steel and reduce the need to linish back before welding. The final paint can then be applied on site.
Installation is made even easier with the shutter leaves being attaches with lift-off flag hinges, which include 4 internal flush bolts. A simple, but effective way of securing the door leaves within the frame
Insulated with polyurethane foam (also known as PU foam), the door leaves and frame are both injected with PU foam to offer a higher level of insulation and rigidity. A full subframe and integrated bars are also welded inside the door for additional strength and integrity.
